Willie, Another point mentioned in just one post referred to the use of a forward spinner attach bulkhead.
See: http://rvflying.tripod.com/spinnerRV.jpg Unless your spinner is one balanced piece of workmanship, you are allowing the forward part of the spinner to wobble a little with no support. You enginneering guys have some big Double Whammey theory to calculate the stresses, suffice to say, more support........better. Do I get a B in the class:-) Anyway, for better support, wax up the forward bulkhead, run you a bead of flox around that forward attach point on the inside of the spinner then seat the spinner and let dry. Pop the spinner off, now you have a nice bed for that forward bulkhead to rest in, thereby increasing the attach footprint, and increasing your support. BTW: MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!
