I do not know how KR people get away with flying without a spinner, but some
of them do, and say that it is not a problem. I tried to fly my first KR,
after a broken prop and spinner, without replacing the spinner, and could
not do it, due to the high CHT. So, I got a new spinner and the CHT was
back under control. Therefore, I concluded that the spinner plays a large
role in cooling and will not fly without one.

Put on a good spinner with a bulkhead plate, be sure there are no nicks from
where you made the cut outs, and it will not come off.

I would like to know what effect the spinner will have on my plane, apart
from making it look better. I tried the search and all I found is that the CHT
will be higher
