I am really tired of this subject, but here are some specifications, that any of you can get from Dan Diehl's web site. He IS the man, and I don't think he would put these out there, if he did not know the facts.

Now compare the simple and light KR retract system weight, to the KR fixed gear system weights. They are nearly the same weight, so then it boils down to drag.
