I just got back from spending the weekend in an RV8. Couple things, the
first 8 driver was low time taildragger but big time jet jockey. He three
pointed it is due to the ease of landing. The second driver was a old time
current banner tow driver who has a boatload of taildragger time and FFI
cardholder. He didn't even add flaps until we were nearly crossing the
numbers and wheel landed it at darn near the exact same time the flaps went
full. After talking with both, it was obvious 3 pointers for low timers,
wheel landings for more experienced.
