OH Jeez Ron you've started it now:-) The first thing off my mind is the ol
KR is more sensitive/responsive (you pick:-) in pitch. Roll........about
the same. Takeoff, big difference simply due to engine size, RV off the
ground faster. Keep in mind though, these are two totally different
airplanes. I am not an advocate of the KR in IFR conditions, I will fly my
RV IFR....BUT....the general concensus is shot an approach or punch up
through, no big deal, in the soup, use an autopilot due the sensitivity of
the controls.

RV styles of what I've flown

RV-6, 150 HP, not a great trainer for KR due to tandem seating, no real CG
factor. This has been the RV of choice for some as there are simply so many
6's out there. See below, the 4.

RV-7, not a good trainer, 18" longer than the 6 and no CG factor

RV-4, this would be in my opinion the best KR trainer. Tandem seating makes
CG in this airplane something to think about, much more so than the side by
sides. Smaller RV, more sensitive in pitch than the 6 or 7 but not as
sensitive as a KR. Roll is very quick.

RV-8, tandem but so much larger than the 4, waste of time if you are looking
for KR similarities

RV-3, probably the closest but only one seat so I can't say a thing

RV-10, never flown in one but :-) you ask so........it's got 4 seats and
goes 195 in cruise.....might have to solve that not flown issue as I just
sent my flying surfaces out to paint.

Others may certainly have different opinions.
