I am getting some queries for more info on the Astro spring idea. Here are
the dimensions
of the spring-
length= 56"
width= 3.5" tapers to 2.75" at the center, then flares back to 3.5" at the
other end.
thickness=5/8"
The spring has a bow to it so if it is set on the floor the center is approx
5" off the floor.
Please remember that I have not tested this idea or verified that anyone has
even flown it.
If you buy a set, be carefull using heat (cutting torch or abrasion) to take
them apart
heat will degrade the epoxy!
