I recently did my canopy, I used Sikaflex 295 UV - I guess the UV bit 
implies some UV resilience .

It's a varient on the stuff used to hold windshields in, and is much 
easier to use than epoxy, it takes hours to set, so you have plenty of 
time to fiddle around.

You have to prime both the canopy and the frame, and unfortunately both 
require different primers, see the sika web site for details. both 
primers are UV safe.

I am really pleased with the resulting bond, a couple of days later I 
carefully trimmed off excess. Any stuff that gets stuck to un-primed 
acrylic is easy to peal off, but the stuff on the primed are is well 
permanent.
