KR> Canopy glue

Perhaps a bit of an odd question, but...
Assume I am building my canopy frame of epoxy/fiberglass, and am going to 
glue the plexi
bubble to my frame. What method of UV protection do I use for the frame where 
glued under the bubble? Paint, then glue? what glue is safe in sunlight for 
long exposures?  (I intend to live and fly to a very old age) Any experiences?
