Just had another thought on my crash. The engine did not stop but was still running though I was not able to maintain height but I was only just loosing height.
I was about 15 miles from the nearest airport, my home airport, and I had about 2000ft clearance from terrain. If I had a fuel flow meter I may have been able to identify the problem earlier and I may have been able to fly at reduced power to the airport (a lot of maybe's) Any thoughts, anyone??????????
