Last Saturday I crashed my KR2.....I'm OK and It will fly again. An extraxt
of the report follows, for the full report

Engine lost power and was missing, it appeared to be running lean like a
fuel blockage and could not climb, the fuel boost pump was turned on, carby
heat applied and the engine ran better for a while. I continued to climb,
but the engine missing became worse. By throttling back I was able to get
the engine to run smoothly but this would only last for a little while and
the it would miss again, I then changed the throttle settings again (up and
down) and by throttling back even more it ran better. This continued for a
short while, about 10 minutes, and eventually I was throttled back that far
that I couldn't maintain altitude. I picked a turf farm paddock but on a
1000 foot down wind I saw power line so I extend to a plowed paddock which
looked ideal. I did a normal circuit, once on finals I realised that there
was a contour in the paddock which I couldn't see from the air. I touched
down nicely before the contour but hit the contour with enough speed to
bounce about 20 feet into the air but not enough speed to maintain flight. I
landed hard and collapsed the undercarriage and the left wing dug into the
ground, then the nose and finally the right wing hit the ground.
