Well, I do not think I would compare it to the docile C-150. But I will give
you credit for saying "almost as easy..." The tri-gear is much more
forgiving on the ground than a taildragger but the take off and landings do
not even compare to a C-150. I doubt that there is little if any difference
between the KR taildragger and the tri-gear in flight characteristics other
than the drag of the nosewheel. I still and always will have to stay on top
of everything during take off and landing while one could almost take off
and land a C-150 blind folded. If you want some comparison on landing a KR
tri-gear, jump in a Warrior or an Archer and make finals at 120 mph slowing
to 100 mph 1/2 mile from touchdown and chopping power over the beginning of
the runway and landing fast. That is how I practiced for my first KR flight.
Things happen fast in a KR so you must be ready to react. So, that being
said, when do you want to fly my KR so you can get some first hand
comparison? Besides, I would like to see it fly.
