My #1 recommendation when you are spraying, especially white, is to use a
whole bunch of light. Go to Home Depot and buy six of the cheap two 4'
flourescent bulb fixtures.

I STILL HATE SANDING !!!!! Tonight, I sprayed on the final primer touch up
and used the Harbor Freight 47016 gun that Brian Kraut let us all know
about. The gun is not a HVLP but sprays on 30 psi to 80 psi. At 30 psi it
does a beautiful job of applying primer with virtually no overspray. I
really like this gun and will use it to apply the final paint. I hope that I
can get the paint applied this Sunday. I just finished sanding the entire
plane with 240 grit paper except the bottom and the result is a surface as
slick as owl sh^t. (yep, that is a southern saying). I will be up till very
late tonight finishing the bottom. I need to get it done tonight because
tomorrow I have one basketball game and two soccer gamed to attend that my
boys are playing in.
