As most of you know, I am in the process of painting my plane. I am almost done with the body work and filling and sanding of the fuselage. A small dilemma I had was that I needed to wash the cowl real good to remove oil from it and it has been simply too cold to do it outside here. Solution: I washed it in the shower last night. My wife thought I was crazy but not as crazy as when I baked the paint on my engine cylinders in the oven on Thanksgiving morning 2001 just two hours prior to the turkey going in. That was a unique tasting turkey!!! When there is a will, there is a way. :-)
