NetHeads, I should probably point out that when I applied for insurance, I had about 10 hours of taildragger time, and 2 hours of "time in type", so it was way more expensive for the first year than it will be in the future. But I would like to know who Jeff has his insurance with!
The weather was too overcast to fly today, but I flew Wednesday and Thursday, and now have 124 hours on the plane. Today was the first day in 12 years that I felt like I didn't HAVE to be either building, flying, or fixing my airplane. So after 8 years of putting off fixing the power window on the driver's side of my Scirocco, I finally did it today. There's something about taking a broken pain in the butt and making it like new in 2 hours without spending a dime that just does wonders for my soul. I felt so productive after that I knocked out the 2005 KR Gathering Photo page at http://www.krnet.org/mvn2005/ .
