Is there enough temp difference to allow me to not have to put the temp rap back on the pipes. The temp rap seems to be drwing mosture and causing oxidation. I obviously want to get rid of the rust and prevent further rust so as to extend the life of the exhaust. Of course I also want to lower the temps under the cowl .
