hi stan best to realy clarify position of egt for accuracy ,i take it you tried to enrichen mixture and nothing occured ,which needs checking to see if it realy is enricening another simple thoiught not accurate test is to have a look at plug colors and take off exhaust and have a peak in exhaust port to see the color , though i thuink with some fuels this can be misleading a simple c.o. meter shoved up exhaust pipe will tell you lots i wonder also if you have done any of the h .v.x. mods which realy emphasise cooling the valves /using new oil gallerys and extra pressure see these picks http://users.lmi.net/~ryoung/Sonerai/HVX_Mods.html
