I though of trying it, but I don't have a flying KR at the moment. I planned on using some plastic T shaped stock that is available at hobby stores and putting it on temporarily with double faced tape. I plan on doing it on my M1 one of these days when I get a chance.
I think it is worth giving it a shot with the cheap temporary method, but I would not expect to get spectacular results. The KR already has a very low stall speed and really good low speed flying characteristics, especially for the cruise speed it has.
