Nothing wrong with dead reckoning Pat, but when you live in an area that you 
need three charts to go anywhere and then update them, and then have the 
right ones in the plane, and then get to a FBO that sells them. When I fly 
with a GPS I still do dead reckoning I just get the info from a source other 
than a paper chart.
