Hi Dan, I've run AvGas exclusively in my 2180 without problem (at least as far as heads and such). I wouldn't worry about it. It seems any problems will manifest itself way before any significant problem occurs. As you know, I have flown my KR all across the USA and the VW has never let me down...just leaked a lot of oil. :) Even with some of the other issues I experienced, It always brought me home safely.
