The mold that I built was made out of ply bent around formers.. so I will 
not have glass that up, its been covered in mylar and duct tape....So I 
really not able to create a "hat"  I may be able to create some type of hat 
out of foam and glass it after I pull the piece off.

I realize that I am going to have some trouble correcting the high's and 
lows in it after I am finished.. because of the tape I am using.. any 
suggestions on how I would get around it?
