Hi John and Peter, Looks like there are many KR's popping up in Europe these days. I've just completed my certification of OE-VPD which becomes OE-CRH as soon as I get my paperwork back from the authorities. I've had final inspection on May 9th (after some 70 test flight hours and 2 and 1/2 years later) and the inspector said I can expect the papers in 2 to 3 weeks...well....
Looking forward touring Europe with my KR-2S (plans build and GPAS 2180 powered). The problem in the UK is that the PFA will only give a 1100lbs MAUW for the KR2s and the Corvair is relatively heavy compared with VWs, Jabirus or even Rotax 912s, leaving you very little space for you, fuel and girlfriend /wife etc. I am still undecided as my partner in this project has more money than me and wants to use a Jabiru 120 ££££££.
