I don't know exactly, but suffice it to say that every takeoff and landing 
this weekend (except the last ones) were "touch and goes" with plenty of 
room before the end of the runway (probably a third of it at least).  I'll 
try to be a little more careful about noticing, but with no braking I can 
usually make the second turnoff, which is 2500' (I think), and I'm not even 
good at this yet..  Takeoffs are really quick and short, thanks to that big 
Corvair.

I do know that Troy Petteway says on a windy day when he has to land at 80 
rather than 65kts he has to get on the brakes on his 6000' runway at Maury 
County, but 80kts is pretty fast too!  My giant split flaps have me landing 
pretty slowly, and then it slows down fast too.  Or maybe it's those 
sideways landings I make,  and the tires are scrubbing off all that 
speed....
