I don't think drilling the small hole first will work. If you do that, then drilling the big hole will make the large bit want to "walk" into the smaller hole. I go with the use of a file to make the notch. Bottom line...Whatever works.
I posted an accident that happened 1 week ago today with a KR2 in Cameron, MO. Did anyone know the guy who was flying this KR? Minor injuries reported with an engine failure on short final. Aircraft destroyed. Anyone have a set of Corby Starlet plans for sale? Thanks! Kevin
