I first flew Ron's 1 (N10RF) to Oshkosh in '72. On the way home, I was so pleased with the airplane; I was just touching the panel, amazed at how smooth it was. Then, All hell broke loose briefly, then went away. I went on home, and when I arrived, I saw that my beautiful, polished aluminum spinner had departed the aircraft. A PIPER spinner with a fastened front bulkhead lived happily ever after. As far as I know, the aircraft is still flying, registered as N60JD.
200 hours of "success" has been mentioned; that's not many hours. Fastening the bulkhead is easy, take very little effort. Ron Freiberger mail to ronandmar...@earthlink.netÂ
