That is true, the model is discontinued but it is still supported by Ellison as far as repair and parts. I have an EFS2 on my KR and I love it. Mine is a little different style as I have a flange for an air box to mount to as well as the intake tube flange. The EFS3 is now the Ellison carb of choice for engines which are used on the KR.
