Gathering attendees,
The Gathering web page has been updated, thanks to Bob Lee. You may now pre-register for the Gathering. The Holiday Inn is also accepting reservations but read carefully before calling. Rooms with king beds only are all they have this year because of a conference taking place at the same time as the Gathering. Other hotels are available. See the web page. www.krgathering.org Read the info under "proshop" before registering and ordering hats and/or shirts also. The Gathering this year is taking place at the same time as the "Arts and Crafts Fair" in Mt.Vernon so there will be plenty of things to entertain the ladies that aren't KR freaks. Visit the Mt.Vernon web page which is hotlinked from the Gathering page and check out the "tourism" link. The pages load very slow and I've asked several contacts to look into it. I guess it's time to call the mayor. I've cut down the registeration form this year to prevent information overload so it's quick and easy to complete. I also intend to cut down the number of forums this year also to give you more KR time. The Gathering should still be informative, motivating, and most of all, FUNNNNNNNNNN. I do intend to get in more than one flight at the Gathering this year ! Camping should be the same setup as last year. I'll try to have more trash containers available for your "soda bottles"!
