I don't think I missed any points - I was answering the question as to why
anyone would want to go from 160 to 140.

I've been following the KR for better than 20 yrs - construction of mine
(now in flight test) for 18 - I'm convinced that if you go back and search
the archives as well as the old KR newsletter you will find that the average
with anything under 100hp is a 140 mph airplane. The only question is the
"clean" stall speed and there is documentation out ther that a < 50 mph
stall is also achievable (espically with the 3 ft wing extension as on the
Diehl wing skins).
