I don't think I missed any points - I was answering the question as to why anyone would want to go from 160 to 140.
I've been following the KR for better than 20 yrs - construction of mine (now in flight test) for 18 - I'm convinced that if you go back and search the archives as well as the old KR newsletter you will find that the average with anything under 100hp is a 140 mph airplane. The only question is the "clean" stall speed and there is documentation out ther that a < 50 mph stall is also achievable (espically with the 3 ft wing extension as on the Diehl wing skins). ----- Original Message ----- From: "Randy Smith " <cruiseair74...@charter.net> To: <kr...@mylist.net> Sent: Saturday, January 08, 2005 10:05 PM Subject: Fw: KR> Is a KR1 a LSA? > You missed the point.
