The KR2S is longer fore and aft of the wing. Its premolds will have to be 
MODIFIED to fit a KR2, as you found.

Not me! RR's answer to my questions was to throw away the KR2 project and 
build a KR2S. Your questions match my reasons that my purchased 30 year old 
project is not flying.
