Actually, my plans show the center of the hole .650 below the bottom of the aileron spar, as if the distance from the hinge did not matter. I measured mine to the top of the aileron spar, which should be about where the top of the hinge will be, and it is about 2 7/8". Can anyone confirm any or none of this is correct?
