Hello Net.

After a foggy start today, then came the heat. I did not fly. I worked on
diverting more cooling air to the oil cooler, which seems to want to heat up
pretty fast with the turbo. I installed my second verturi and that exercise
lasted most of the day, especially after my old car broke a tie rod on the way
to the store for clamps. Five hours later I returned to the hanger to continue
into the evening. As I try to clear my do list, things keep happening to make
it longer. Yesterday I broke a switch to my instrument lights and now the
wires are shorting my position lights. Several days ago I lost my EGT
indication and now my number 3 and 4 CHT readings are fluxuation. It seems
that the combo gauge is about to give up the ghost. I can go without EGT, but
I can't fly the new engine without CHT. Tomorrow it seems that I must remove
the instrument panel to investigate the gauge and fix the light switch, that's
another all day affair.
