State of Illinois: I pay a $25 fee every other year to register the Tripacer with the state. They have not sent me a bill/registration yet for the KR and I wasn't going to ask for one. They recently changed some procedures where you have to pay sales tax on any aircraft purchased from any party regardless of location. I paid no sales tax on the Tripacer when I purchased it but today it would have cost me over $900. To quote a line from the musical "Big River", "gosh dang government, the dirty sons-a-bitches".
