RE: simply acquiring and N number in anticipation of building puts you on
the property tax rolls 



In South Carolina, property tax is collected by the counties and each county
charges you what they will. Reserving the number does not put you on the tax
rolls. As soon as you register the plane, you are put on the roles. We are
charged based on the value that they apply to the property and since they
have no real way to value the property, getting documentation as Mark L.
suggested is something that can work in our favor.
