I am going to install a speed brake in the next couple of days. I am using an electric Van's RV flap actuator to raise and lower the speed brake. Has anyone using a speed brake placed the speed brake in any other location other than the rear spar? My speed brake will be 30" x 9". Any thoughts on the proper location and why would be greatly appreciated.
