I flew my first KR for 35 hours with the bolts exposed with no problems. I
really couldn't tell any difference when I covered them.

I eventally sealed the stub to outer wing gap with white silicone and put on
the spring fastened bolt hole covers that came with the plane.

Subject: KR> Wing Attach Joint Cover

I have read several ideas for covering the wing attachment joints but
haven't decided which one I will use. Is there any problem with flying with
the joint and attachment bolts exposed, or is it mandatory that this joint
be covered/faired for safe/stable flight? I think covering the joint is
primarily for appearance but I could be wrong.
