I have a well built ie light, trigear KR2, and with 2 adults and a small
fuel load reach our UK limit of 900 lbs mauw. Take off is l-o-n-g, and
that's from a hard surface. Climb performance is poor, 150 ft/min, and
landings are ok but you aware that your 'heavy'. And this is with an 1835
cc VW taken out to 1915 cc. I'm basing this on average temperature days (
Scotland in summer = Maine in fall ? ) at sea level. I'm not saying it's
not possible, but with a 1600 cc I'm not too sure...
