Why do you say it is not readily available? The archives are full of this
information. Anyway, here is something to chew on while you search the
archives.

1) Cabin width of the standard KR-2? Is it enough for two 170lb guys
shoulder to shoulder??

Yes, if they are good friends and don't have BO. I am 180, 5'9" and Jerry is
185, 5'10" and we tried the new plane out one day. It is tight, but doable.

2) Can a tri-gear KR-2 be used successfully with a 1600cc VW? What
performance could one expect?

Very marginal. And "depends". How heavy is it and are you planning on both
of those people in it on a regular basis? It may be hard to get it off the
ground, long ground roll, and I would not expect more that 110 to 120 MPH
and I think the 120 is stretching it with a well built, light ( redundant )
KR.

I built one and flew it for 185 hours and am now building the second with my
partner, Jerry.
