Last weekend, I had an inspection by an EAA Technical counselors and two of his
partners. They went over my plane with a fine tooth comb. The inspection passed
with flying colors. They were extremely impressed with the Corvair engine
installation and could not believe how smooth that engine runs. They also
stated it was really nice to inspect a plans built plane which showed true
craftsmanship and innovations and not just a kit like most everyone else
builds. They called this the true art of building a plane, the grassroots which
everyone else evolved from. To say the least, I am very proud of their report
on my plane and am really pumped to get it finished.
