Sid, Do yourself a favor. Go with the "plug and chug". A 2180 from Steve is one of the best engines you can put on a KR2. If it were a 2S, then maybe, but I wouldn't change out that gear for anything. You will probably use up all that extra power pulling around the extra weight.
