Regardless of the fact that if you choose to or choose not to normalize 
your WAF's, doesn't mean that you should just install them and forget 'em.    
Cracks propigate over time and use (load), and since the WAF's are a highly 
loaded part, don't forget to provide access panels to enable frequent 
inspection.
