I?m in the process of tearing down a previously flown 2180. It began life as a
Mosler, but has GP heads and potentially other changes. Trouble I?m having is,
the case doesn?t want to split. The only place that?s hung up is right at the
fourth bearing. I?ve checked and re-checked to make sure there aren?t any bolts
keeping it in place - I think there?s some kind of collar keeping it together.
I?ve uploaded a picture to

were 4 hex head screws, which you can see the holes from. I removed those, but
that collar or whatever it is doesn?t want to move, and the case doesn?t want
to split there. Can anyone give me insight on how to remove that collar?
