Owen,

The only real comment in the KR manual on how to build the wing tips is to
"build them alike". If you plan to put lights on the ends, run the wiring now.
Might not be easy later on. I flew mine for a year before I installed the
lights but they were wired during building.

I've seen lots of different options on KR wing tips, it really is just a
builder preference.

Subject: KR> Odd wing tips...

To the aerodynamically minded out there.I find the wingtips on my son?s
project more than a bit odd. It looks like the front edge is squared of ~90deg
to mount wingtip lights, and then failed back into the Hoerner bevel.See bottom
of:http://hugheskr2s.yolasite.com/progress.php
<http://hugheskr2s.yolasite.com/progress.php>Its hard to see from the images
but, but the "reverse fillet" is pretty dramatic.Any thoughts? Should I cut it
off and maintain a standard Hoerner
bevel?Owen_______________________________________________Search the KRnet
