I have been hanging upside down by the seatbelt in a KR with the header tank on fire. All the fuel in the wings is wise advice.

I read a crash report years ago about a KR1 that had a hard landing, the firewall broke away and the ruptured tank dumped it's contents on the pilot. Why it never caught fire is a mystery.
