Many years ago in a C172, father-in-law in the right seat, wife and mother-in-law in the back seats, during a joy ride in perfectly smooth air making a circle over the family farm at 1000AGL, I managed to hit my wake at the end of the circle and my wife yells from the back seat "watch where you're going"!!!
