Dave,

For my original paint job I used a "boat" paint, readily available from a local 
boaters supply store. It was an acrylic enamel. However that paint job only 
lasted about 5 years. It was in a hanger but I did fly through rain on occasion 
and camped out with her on many trips. I spent more money the second time and 
used Stewart's Systems paint, but I did use a roller to put that one on. It is 
holding up much better, but don't look too close.
