I would disagree with Larry on that one. The control surface stops should be as close to the control surface as possible. It is a Canadian requirement to have control stops on all control surfaces. My rudder stops are where the control horn meets the fuselage. A simple bracket was added with adjustable stop bolts to contact the horn. Pix on request. Regards Chris Gardiner KR2S 240 hours CGKRZ
