Maybe I missed something but I don't remember anybody critisizing your
spinner fabrication.  Mark posted a similar process years ago.  
My only suggestion on the subject is that anyone making changes to their
prop/spinner/bulkhead/backplate - anything that rotates . . . is do a
dynamic balance afterwards.  Vibration causes spinner cracks.  Eliminate
vibration and you won't have cracks.  
Also, since cracks inevitably form around the cutouts, put some doublers
underneath to strengthen that area.
