Max Gross Weight & CG, Minimum Fuel, Standard Pilot & Passenger: Start with Empty Weight, add standard pilot & passenger (170 pounds each) plus minimum fuel. Minimum fuel weight is calculated using the formula: ((Max. continuous hp)/12)X6. For my 2180 VW rated at 76 hp, that would be 38 pounds of fuel (6-2/3 gallons). You must limit the weight additions so as to not exceed the design maximum allowable aft CG. (16 inches for a plans-built KR-2) Not recommended to fly in that 14 to 16-inch cg condition, but that's the legal guideline.
