Your Sensenich is 3.25" thick if it's like the two trashed ones that I had
(good stories for both, but everybody knows the "crank break #3" story). I
was going to send Dan my 52x60 Sterba, which is one of my favorites, but
it's 3.5" thick, meaning he will likely have to alter his spinner, and would
have to get a new front bulkhead, which is usually something of a custom
part based on prop thickness. I didn't have this problem swapping back and
forth, because I started with the thicker Sterba then migrated to a
Sensenich, so I just spaced it out with a .25" aluminum spacer and it worked
fine. It should be noted that I flew for several hundred hours with no
spinner at all, and I never noticed a problem other than it slowed me down
perhaps 1 mph on the top end.

I can send mine tomorrow, but if somebody has one that's 3.25" or less in
thickness, sized for a 2700cc Corvair (SAE 1 pattern), it would be a better
match for him. So I think Dan's offer still stands...he needs a prop, but
if nothing can be shipped by Wednesday, he'd likely take mine and go
spinnerless. I'd say it would be prudent to send matching prop bolts too,
or a set a little too long and shim to fit, and even the crush plate for use
as a spacer, if the prop is thinner than 3.25".

Another option is to use the old spinner as a mold to make a new one out of
fiberglass, such as what I did at http://www.n56ml.com/spinner/ . I just
came from the airport and couldn't find mine, and I'm somewhat baffled as to
where it is. It's been two years since I needed it on N56ML. It's
somewhere, but a half hour search didn't turn it up, nor the crush plate and
the aluminum spacer.

Please cc me on any other prop offers so I'll know if I need to ship this
one on Wednesday...

Thanks,
