I don't think what Bob meant to say is ..."advice is NOT to call it a KR". 
If the specs are published then the FAA is likely to go with those numbers, 
which don't fit into LSA.  You could argue that you stretched the wings and 
beefed the spars and all kinds of stuff, but avoiding the issue entirely 
with your "own design" would likely streamline the process.
