"libv4l2" is not an established library. In fact, I have yet to see any 
evidence of its existence.

As you apparently mean "libv4l", perhaps you should fix CMakeLists.txt 
to refer to the correct package. It would have saved much trouble.

Sure. As said, I see no problem with 'either you have libv4l or you have 
no video at all'. For me I am already in the 'no video at all' category 
because I have no video capture devices.
